Message from Town Administrator
Gary Ezovski
On June 18 the town council will hold a public hearing on the budget for the 2018-19 fiscal year. I want to encourage awareness of the budget that I have offered as well as that submitted by the budget committee. A copy of the document detailing each of those budgets will be posted to the town's website today. Those recommendations have already yielded concern from some over the recommendations for schools. I am hoping residents with interest will take time to go through the details and advise if they have any questions. In this note next week, I will offer additional information to explain some key reasons for my recommendations. One detail wasn’t clear in yesterday’s Valley Breeze article. The level of spending in my recommendation and the budget committee's proposal will already result in a 2.8% tax increase. If there are questions before then, please contact me by any means that work for you.
