RIPTA and RIDOT Remind Public of In-Person
Public Meeting on Proposed RIPTA Service
Changes in Downtown Providence
In-Person Meeting Scheduled for Today, March 21 at 6:30pm
Providence, Rhode Island, March 21, 2022 – The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) and the Rhode Island Department of Transportation (RIDOT) are reminding passengers of an in-person meeting on proposed changes to bus service in downtown Providence. Three virtual meetings were previously held on these proposed changes.
An in-person meeting will be held today, Monday, March 21, 2022 at the Cambridge Innovation Center at 225 Dyer Street in Providence at 6:30pm.
RIPTA and RIDOT will focus on the development of a new transit center on Dorrance Street. These public meetings are an opportunity for the public to submit their input on the development of this new transit facility. Passengers are invited to view the proposed changes at RIPTA.com/TransitCenter and submit their feedback through March 31, 2022.
