Message from the Town Administrator

 

The Stone Arch Bridge Has Re-opened

 


 

 

The Stone Arch bridge re-opened to traffic on Friday, June 29th.  The contract states that the bridge will remain open through March 2018.  The second closure of the bridge is scheduled for March 1 of 2018 through July of 2019. 
 

 

 

Attention North Smithfield Water Customers

 

The Comstock Road water tower will be cleaned and inspected on Tuesday, July 11th, and Wednesday, July 12th.

 

This may cause temporary reduction in water pressure throughout the water system. Some discoloration of water may occur. This is not harmful.

 

Department officials recommend limited water use during this time, including using water to wash clothes and dishes.

 

Check your water before use. If it is discolored, run the cold water until it clears.

The Town of North Smithfield has an immediate opening for a Part-Time Computer Network Administrator; 19 hours per week.
