(September 5, 2023, Bellingham, MA)  The Bellingham Cultural Council is pleased to announce that local artists, performers, crafters, etc. can apply for grants supporting their performances until October 17.

The Council’s goal is to provide Bellingham residents with access to performances, exhibits, workshops, lectures, creative activities, and performances that enhance their knowledge and expertise.  This is accomplished by providing funding to local individuals and organizations.  Statewide, more than $3.3 million will be provided by the Mass Cultural Council and distributed by more than 329 local cultural councils.

Bellingham Cultural Council’s funds may only be used to support the creative, cultural, and science sectors of the local community through programs and events.

The Mass Cultural Council is a state agency that promotes excellence, education, diversity, and inclusion in the arts, humanities, and sciences to foster a rich cultural life for all Massachusetts residents and contribute to the vitality of our communities and economy.

The Bellingham Cultural Council will evaluate all grant applications from October 18 through the end of January.  And awards will be announced in February.
