Mayor Beauchamp Announces City Assessor John A. Pagliarini, Jr., Esq. To Serve As Interim Planning Director
WOONSOCKET, R.I.: Mayor Christopher Beauchamp announced today that City Assessor John A. Pagliarini, Jr., Esq. shall immediately become the Interim Director of Planning and Development. Assessor Pagliarini is a land use Attorney, former Town Planner, member of the American Planning Association and holds a Master’s degree in Community Planning.
Beauchamp stated that he has tasked Mr. Pagliarini with evaluating the Planning Department and the many different functions which the department actively engages in on a daily basis. Beauchamp added that Mr. Pagliarini has performed admirably in reorganizing the Assessing Division of the Finance Department and he expects a comprehensive and honest evaluation of the Planning Department by Mr. Pagliarini in the coming months.
Finally, Beauchamp noted that Assessor Pagliarini will also continue to serve as the City Assessor. The city’s current December 31, 2024 revaluation is currently being performed by an outside revaluation company. This will allow Mr. Pagliarini to serve in the dual roles for the coming months.
