Amo Statement on the Death of Yahya Sinwar
WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman Gabe Amo (RI-01) released the following statement:
“Today is a reminder that terrorists have no safe haven and cannot avoid justice,” said Congressman Gabe Amo, a member of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs. “As the mastermind of Hamas’ terrorist attack on October 7th, Yahya Sinwar bears responsibility for so much death and destruction in its aftermath. I hope his removal ensures Hamas cannot carry out such an attack again and we can finally end the bloodshed. We must achieve a ceasefire and focus on building a secure, peaceful future for Israelis and Palestinians alike.”
