RITBA E-ZPASS OFFICE CLOSED

 

September 2, office closed for scheduled system maintenance

 

 

JAMESTOWN, R.I. – The E-ZPass office will be closed Saturday, September 2, 2017 as the The Rhode Island Turnpike and Bridge Authority (RITBA) performs scheduled computer system maintenance and IT upgrades.

 

At that time, E-ZPass customers will not have access to their accounts, and no new accounts will be opened. No E-ZPass transponder purchases can be made online or by telephone on that day. In addition to September 2, the E-ZPass and RITBA Administration offices will be closed on Monday, September 4, 2017 for Labor Day. The office will reopen on Tuesday, September 5.

 

The E-ZPass office hours at East Shore Road in Jamestown are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

It looks like President Trump and the president of Iran are trading threats about war. Trump put out an all-caps tweet to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani [[ roo-HAHN-ee ]] warning him to never threaten the United States or, quote, "YOU WILL SUFFER CONSEQUENCES THE LIKES OF WHICH FEW THROUGHOUT HISTORY HAVE EVER SUFFERED BEFORE."        Police in Toronto are confirming that a woman and the gunman are dead after a mass shooting. More than a dozen others, including a young girl in critical condition, are in the hospital. It happened last night in east Toronto's Greektown neighborhood.        North Korea reportedly wants the U.S. to make a bold move and agree to a peace treaty before Pyongyang will talk any more about denuclearization. CNN cites what it calls an official with close knowledge of the North's position. That official says North Korea wants a permanent peace to replace the armistice that ended the Korean War.        A new report says suspected Russian spy Maria Butina allegedly had more high-level contacts in the federal government than previously reported.
