Republican lawmakers say an extended government shutdown could disrupt Thanksgiving travel. Neither Republicans nor Democrats are showing any signs of compromise on the funding bill that's keeping the government shut down. GOP leaders say disruptions lay ahead as air traffic controllers and TSA agents continue working without pay.        Israel and Hamas are working on phase two of President Trump's Gaza peace plan. Mediators from both sides have returned to the negotiating table this morning to discuss the next phase of the 20-point peace plan. The talks come as violence has broken out in Gaza between Hamas and rival Palestinian groups.        President Trump and FBI Director Kash Patel have a press conference scheduled for 3 p.m. this afternoon Eastern time. It's unclear what the press conference in the Oval Office will address. Trump returned yesterday from a trip to the Middle East where he signed a peace agreement between Israel and Hamas.        Some serious safety lapses at a Tennessee explosives plant were apparently flagged years before last week's deadly explosion. Sixteen people were killed in the massive blast at Accurate Energetic Systems. A 2019 OSHA inspection noted workers were not properly trained on chemical hazards or protective measures.        Jason Kelce says some recent posts about Bad Bunny are not from him. The former NFL player said Tuesday that several fake quotes about Bad Bunny are being attributed to him online. The ex-Philadelphia Eagles center told his followers that unless it came directly from him or his platforms, the quotes are not real.        The Dodgers have a commanding lead in the National League Championship Series. Yoshinobu Yamamoto threw a complete game Tuesday and surrendered just one run to give his side a 5-1 win over the Brewers. The series will shift to Los Angeles for Game Three on Thursday.
