On Friday February 14th the regular Teen Time event at the Woonsocket Harris Public Library will be canceled. The week after that, during school vacation there will be two sessions of Teen Time, one on Tuesday the 18th and the other on Friday the 21st. Both will be at the normal time of 2:00 to 4:30 and will be open to anyone in Middle School or High School. Teen Time is a great place for kids to hang out, with snacks, games and a chance to use the Playstation VR or the Wii.

Also during school vacation week, the library will present the return of Jedi Academy on Thursday February 20th at 2:30. This is a chance for teens to learn the secrets of lightsaber combat from Teen Librarian Ed Fuqua, who has over ten years of stage combat experience. Everyone will have a chance to make their own safe lightsaber and spar with the rest of the class. This has always been a popular program at the library, and we are pleased to have it back at a time when Star Wars popularity has reached its peak.
