Congressional leaders have reached a deal for a short-term funding extension to prevent a partial government shutdown Saturday. The House is expected to vote Thursday on a bill for temporary funding. The Senate will then vote shortly after.       The Supreme Court is going to decide whether former President Trump can claim immunity over his election interference charges. In a brief order, SCOTUS said it would hear arguments and issue a ruling. The case is currently on hold, so no trial can happen.        President Biden's doctor says he's fit to serve as president. Biden underwent a routine physical today at Walter Reed. A summary from doctors says there are "no new concerns" from this year's physical.        State Police are investigating an envelope containing white powder that was sent to an Albany address where New York Attorney General Letitia James has an office. No one was injured after the letter was received at 1 Empire State Plaza, and it was sent to a lab to be tested. Meanwhile, a probe is underway after white powder spilled out of an envelope this morning addressed to the judge who oversaw Donald Trump's civil fraud case in Manhattan.        The judge in the trial of Bryan Kohbeger heard arguments on whether a change of venue should be considered. Kohberger is charged with the murders of four University of Idaho students in 2022. The defense attorney wants to argue change of venue well before the trial.        Richard Lewis is dead at 76. Deadline confirmed the iconic actor and stand-up comic's death on Wednesday. Lewis died at his home in Los Angeles after suffering a heart attack. He revealed he had been living with Parkinson's disease last year.
