PARKING BAN
WOONSOCKET, RI: The City of Woonsocket has announced a city-wide parking ban in effect from 9:00 a.m, Tuesday, February 12, 2019, until 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2019. On-street parking is prohibited during this time to allow crews to effectively and safely clear all roads. Tensions are high in Minneapolis after an ICE agent shot and killed a woman they claimed was trying to run over them. A federal agent opened fire on 37-year-old Renee Good during an enforcement operation on Wednesday. Multiple neighbors, bystanders and reporters said she seemed to be driving away from the scene when she was shot.        The Senate will vote today on a resolution that would block President Trump from taking further action in Venezuela without congressional approval. The bipartisan war powers resolution only needs a simple majority to pass. Trump could still veto any resolution to limit his power if it were to pass in Congress.        A manhunt is underway in Utah following a shooting in Utah that left two people dead and six others injured. Police say a fight broke out in the parking lot of an LDS church in Salt Lake City during a funeral and that shots were fired. The names of the victims and a possible motive for the shooting have not been released.        Testimony continues today in the trial of a former Texas schools officer charged for his slow response to the 2022 Uvalde mass shooting. Former officer Adrian Gonzales is accused of failing to engage the gunman after arriving at Robb Elementary School just before the shooting started. Twenty-one people were killed in the shooting.        OpenAI is launching ChatGPT Health to help the 230-million people who ask the chatbot health questions each week. ChatGPT Health will keep health questions separate from other chats, and will allow users to bring in electronic medical records and other data from apps like Apple Health and MyFitnessPal.        The College Football Playoff semifinals have arrived. Number six Ole Miss will be kicking things off today when it battles number 10 Miami in the Fiesta Bowl in Arizona. The Rebels have advanced to the CFP semis after collecting wins over number 11 Tulane and number three Georgia. Ole Miss is 13-and-1. Miami enters 12-and-2.
