WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange is pleading guilty to conspiracy charges. This week, it was announced Assange reached a plea deal with the U.S. Justice Department that would see him go free after spending five years in a British prison. Assange was part of one of the largest leaks of classified documents in history, including military and diplomatic materials that showed war crimes committed by American forces in Iraq.       A Hollywood workers union has reached a deal with top studios regarding artificial intelligence. The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees represents film and TV crews in the industry. On Tuesday, the union reached a tentative three-year deal with Disney, Netflix and other major studios that includes pay hikes and protections against employees being replaced by artificial intelligence.        Primary elections are in for Colorado, Utah, and New York. New York progressive Democrat Jamaal Bowman lost his seat in the 16th congressional district in a challenge from Westchester County Executive George Latimer. In Colorado, Republican Congresswoman Lauren Boebert is leaving the state's third district, winning the GOP primary in the state's fourth district. Four Republican candidates in Utah were vying to replace retiring Senator Mitt Romney, with John Curtis gaining the GOP nomination over Donald Trump endorsed Trent Staggs in the race.       President Biden is expected to pardon veterans convicted by the military under a law that previously banned gay sex. The pardons set to be announced today are expected to impact about two-thousand people.        Fort Wayne, Indiana Mayor Sharon Tucker is speaking out about the shooting death of a 22-year-old Black man killed by a police officer. Linzell Parhm was shot over the weekend after being pulled over by an officer now on leave. Body cam footage of the incident was released yesterday. Mayor Tucker released a statement saying, in part, "It is critical that we come together as residents of our great city and support one another."       Two Olympic gold-medal swimmers are urging Congress to crack down on doping ahead of the Summer Games. Michael Phelps and Allison Schmitt were on Capitol Hill Tuesday to speak before a House subcommittee examining anti-doping measures.
