It's not clear how long the voting marathon will take or whether Republicans have enough votes to pass the huge tax and spending package. Republicans have a self imposed deadline of July 4th.        Two firefighters are dead and another is injured after an ambush-style attack in Idaho. Authorities said the suspect, identified as 20-year-old Wess Roley set a brush fire near Coeur d'Alene and started shooting at them when they arrived to fight it. They located the shooter's cell phone signal, which led them to finding Roley's body with a gun nearby.        Travel numbers for the 4th of July weekend are expected to break records. Triple-A is predicting over 72 million-people will venture at least 50 miles from home over the Independence Day holiday period that started on June 28th to July 6th. That's an additional one-point-three-million road travelers compared to 2024.        A juror in Sean "Diddy" Combs sex crimes trial reportedly can't follow the judge's instructions. Shortly after deliberations began, the jury sent a note related to concern about the juror. The judge sent a note back reminding them of their lawful duty and told them to keep deliberating.        The White House is confirming Canada's decision to rescind a tax targeting U.S. tech firms. Press secretary Karoline Leavitt said Canada's prime minister called President Trump last night to tell him the tax was dropped, and that the two countries are resuming trade negotiations. It comes after Trump said the U.S. was ending all trade talks because of the tax.        EA Sports is bringing back its college basketball video game. The company on Monday posted a teaser that said "Bring the Madness. Let's run it back." The last installment came out in 2009 with Oklahoma Sooner Blake Griffin on the cover.
