President Trump is doubling-down on claims that U.S. airstrikes obliterated Iran's nuclear capabilities. Trump has been pushing back against multiple reports that say early Pentagon intelligence suggested Iran's nuclear program was only setback months. The president also said Iran was not able to move nuclear materials before the strikes happened. As a result, Congress' access to classified information will start being limited.        The first heatwave of 2025 is baking the U.S. Over 100 million people are sizzling from the Midwest to the New England region. Extreme heat warnings are in place from North Carolina to Pennsylvania. Temperatures in the region are forecast to be in upper 90s with New York City seeing 96 degrees today.        Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth is set to hold a press conference Thursday morning. President Trump took to Truth Social to say the "major news conference" at 8 A.M. EST will defend B-2 bomber pilots' "dignity" after a leak suggested the pilots' attack on Iranian nuclear sites were not as serious as mentioned. Trump went on to say it will be "both interesting and irrefutable."        About two-million Americans are at risk of getting their wages garnished due to unpaid student loans. TransUnion reports six-million borrowers are classified as "newly-delinquent" as of April, meaning a borrower is 90 days behind on their payments. About a third of those newly-delinquent could enter default as soon as July.        A suspect is now in custody after a police officer was seriously injured during a shooting in Southern California. Santa Monica Police say the suspected shooter was arrested at 4:20 p.m. local time. Police say a tip from a resident led to the arrest.        Pop superstar Taylor Swift made a surprise appearance at the Tight End University training camp kickoff hosted by her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle and retired former NFL tight end turned FOX Sports analyst Greg Olsen have hosted the training camp event for their position in Nashville every year since 2021. Swift even took the stage at Brooklyn Bowl with country music singer Kane Brown to perform her hit song "Shake It Off."
