The White House says military force is an option to aquire Greenland. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a statement that gaining control of Greenland is a national security priority of the U.S. She went on, saying the administration is discussing several options for acquiring Greenland, and "utilizing the U.S. Military is always an option." Leavitt said the semi-autonomous Danish territory is important because it can be used to deter American adversaries in the Arctic.        President Trump says Venezuela is giving 30 to 50 million barrels of oil to the U.S. Trump took to Truth Social to say the oil will be sold at market value, with the money controlled by the U.S.        The Department of Justice is looking over another two million documents connected to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Attorney General Pam Bondi and her deputy Todd Blanche wrote a letter to a New York judge explaining that over 12-thousand documents have been posted to the DOJ Epstein Library in response to The Epstein Files Transparency Act.        A Tennessee college professor is being reinstated after he was fired for a social media post he made following the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Following his death, associate professor Darren Michael of Austin Peay State University posted the news headline, "Charlie Kirk says gun deaths are 'unfortunately' worth it to keep 2nd Amendment." Michael was fired after the post, for making "insensitive comments."        Nick Reiner is reportedly no longer on suicide watch. Reiner is due in court for his arraignment today, accused of stabbing his father, Hollywood icon Rob Reiner, and his mother, photographer Michele Singer Reiner, to death in their Brentwood home on December 14th.        A former CIA officer convicted of spying for the Soviet Union, has died at the age of 84. The Bureau of Prisons says Aldrich Ames passed away Monday at the Federal Correctional Institution in Cumberland, Maryland. Beginning in 1985, Ames sold information to Soviet and later Russian officials, information that's believed to have led to the arrest or execution of multiple people spying for the U.S.
