President Trump says a Princeton Ph.D student who was kidnapped by Hezbollah more than two years ago has been released. Trump announced on Truth Social that Elizabeth Tsurkov is now safely in the American Embassy in Iraq. Tsurkov holds Israeli and Russian citizenship, but her sister is an American citizen.        The Supreme Court will hear the case over whether President Trump's tariffs are legal. The focus will be on Trump using a law meant for times of emergency to impose the duties without the help of Congress. The high court agreed to take two different cases that cover most of the tariffs including one filed by the Trump administration in response to an Appeals Court ruling late last month that said he had went above his authority.        A man accused of killing a Ukrainian refugee on a Charlotte light rail train is facing federal charges. U.S. Attorney from the District of North Carolina Russ Ferguson confirms Decarlos Brown Jr. is charged with committing an act causing death on a mass transportation system. The 34-year-old already faces a first-degree murder charge in North Carolina state court for allegedly stabbing 23-year-old Iryna Zarutska [[ EE-ree-nah zah-ROOT-skah ]] on August 22nd.        Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is out with a report on children's health. The "Make Our Children Healthy Again" report outlines a strategy for improving kids' health, focusing specifically on chronic disease. It calls for improvements to nutrition and exercise, and a review of the impacts of drugs and vaccines. The report follows the original "Make America Healthy Again" report released earlier this year.        The death toll is climbing in Nepal after a social media crackdown led to violent protests. Last week, the government of the Himalayan country banned dozens of online platforms including Facebook, X and Instagram. The ban led to violent protests on Monday of mostly young people, who set fire to government buildings and the homes of politicians in Nepal's capital city, Kathmandu. At least 22 are dead.        As the anniversary of the September 11th attacks approaches this week, it's reported that nearly 50-thousand people, many of them first responders, have been diagnosed with 9/11-related cancers. It's a more than 140 percent increase over the last five years, according to the World Trade Center Health Program. More people have now died from 9/11-related cancers than were killed in the terror attacks.
