Joe Biden says he asked former President Obama not to endorse him because the Democratic candidate should win the nomination based on merit. Speaking today at the Amtrak station in Delaware, the former VP says it will be "up to Democrats to decide" if he is the best choice to beat President Trump. Biden rolled out his presidential campaign with an online video this morning challenging Trump's moral leadership.        The parents accused of murdering their five-year-old son Andrew "AJ" Freund [[ friend ]] in a Chicago suburb are each being held on five-million-dollars bond. In court today, prosecutors initially wanted Joann Cunningham and Andrew Freund, Sr., to each be held on ten-million-dollars bond. They are facing murder, aggravated battery, and aggravated domestic battery charges among others.        A mother and son are dead after a deadly tornado tore through Northern Louisiana. The twister touched down in Ruston, about 70 miles east of Shreveport. Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards says storm threats aren't over, as more severe weather is likely going to make its way through the Gulf Coast region today.        A Sri Lankan business mogul allegedly helped his two sons with the Easter Sunday bombing attacks. Over 350 were killed and hundreds more were injured in the coordinated attacks on churches and hotels across Sri Lanka. Spice trader Mohamed Yusuf Ibrahim was arrested after his two sons blew themselves up.        A Pentagon watchdog is clearing acting Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan of alleged bias toward Boeing, his former employer. An inspector general's report found no evidence that Shanahan used his influence to help Boeing. Boeing is a major U.S. defense contractor. The inspector general report may clear the path for President Trump to nominate Shanahan as defense secretary. Order is being restored in the universe as the Avengers assemble one final time in Avengers: Endgame. The highly anticipated film premieres tonight. The universe is left in ruins, and Tony Stark is left adrift in space with a low oxygen supply. Thor, Black Widow, Captain America and Bruce Banner have to bring their allies together to save Stark and have an epic showdown with the evil demigod Thanos.
