We have to move forward with updating the Town’s Comprehensive Plan so the time to offer opinion must close.  The Town’s Comprehensive Plan community survey will be removed from the website on Monday, May 21st. The survey was first placed up onto the website on March 21st providing us with 2 months of data collection.   As a reminder, please know the existing 2006 comprehensive plan can be found on the Planning Department’s page of the town website along with the draft 2018 comprehensive plan. In addition to the website, until next Monday, hard copy surveys can be found at the Town library and within each of the Town Hall buildings.

Harvey Weinstein's lawyer says the disgraced Hollywood producer plans to plead not guilty to sex crime charges involving two women. Defense attorney Ben Brafman says he's seeking to dismiss charges and believes his client will be exonerated. After surrendering to four counts of sex crimes including rape at a Manhattan precinct this morning, Weinstein posted one-million-dollars cash bail at his arraignment.        Two people are in critical condition and a gunman is in custody after a shooting at a school in Indiana. Police say that the situation is contained at Noblesville West Middle School, located just northeast of Indianapolis. The victims reportedly are a 13-year-old girl and an adult. The school is on lockdown. The students are being bused to nearby Noblesville High School.        President Trump says talks between North Korea and the U.S. are ongoing. Talking with reporters at the White House today, Trump said -- "We'll see what happens." Trump withdrew from his planned June 12th summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un yesterday. He said harsh rhetoric from the North prompted his decision.        President Trump is giving remarks at the U.S. Naval Academy commencement ceremony. Presidents traditionally address graduating members of one American military academy each year, on a rotating basis. Today's commencement ceremony in Annapolis, Maryland will include a flyover by the Blue Angels.       An explosion at a Toronto-area restaurant is leaving more than a dozen people injured. Police say three men set off an improvised explosive device inside an Indian restaurant in suburban Missisauga [[ MISS-ih-SAW-guh ]] last night. A regional paramedic service says 15 people were taken to hospitals, including three with critical blast injuries.       A fourth straight Warriors and Cavaliers matchup in the NBA Finals may not happen. Both teams are one game from being eliminated after the Rockets pulled out a 98-94 win over Golden State in Game Five of the Western Conference finals in Houston. The Cavaliers will try to avoid the end of their season tonight when they square off with the Celtics in Game Six of the East Finals in Cleveland.
