“Post Mark” Santa’s very own postman. He will read from his story. Children will have a chance to write a letter to Santa and give it directly to Santa’s postman.


Starting at 2pm visit “Post Mark” as part of Woonsocket’s Main Street Holiday Stroll.


There could be a delay in President Trump's planned summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. Trump said yesterday the June 12th Singapore summit might be postponed. North Korea threatened last week to pull out of the summit. The North is angry about joint military exercises between the U.S. and South Korea and unhappy about Trump's insistence on denuclearization.        A former state lawmaker is a step closer to becoming Georgia's first black woman governor. Stacey Abrams won the so-called "Battle of the Staceys" for the Democratic nomination, defeating former state lawmaker Stacey Evans last night. Abrams will face either Republican Lieutenant Governor Casey Cagle or Secretary of State Brian Kemp. They'll meet in a runoff in July.       President Trump is ready to sign a bill rolling back some banking protections put in place after the 2007-2009 financial crisis. The House passed the bill yesterday. It removes oversight from some smaller banks and also eases rules on lending. The Senate passed the bill in March.        Lava from the Kilauea [[ KILL-uh-WAY-uh ]] volcano is gushing in a path of destruction on Hawaii's Big Island. Lava bombs from the eruption are reportedly damaging homes, and toxic gas explosions are hurling boulders. Molten rock from fissures was gushing up to a 160 feet high yesterday.        President Trump travels to Long Island, New York today for a speech that's expected to focus on efforts to wipe out the violent MS-13 gang. Trump drew criticism last week when he referred to some illegal immigrants as animals. He made the remark in response to a comment about MS-13.        The Houston Rockets and Golden State Warriors are tied at two games apiece in the NBA's Western Conference Final. Houston rallied in the fourth quarter to pull out a 95-92 win over the Warriors in Game Four last night.
