Rose Ferron Foundation of Rhode Island Presents –

You are cordially invited to the first “Little Rose Fundraiser,” at Savini’s Pomodoro
Italian Kitchen & Bar with Hosts Mitch & Roger Savini, 476 Rathbun St., Woonsocket,
RI  02895, on Saturday, October 28, 2017, 11am – 4pm.
 

The Rose Ferron Foundation of Rhode Island continues to honor Marie-Rose Ferron
during this year of the 81st Anniversary of her death, a well-known, documented,
bedridden Mystic, Stigmatist and Ecstatic of Woonsocket with a large U.S., Canada
and International following.  Many found consolation and healing through her prayers
and sacrifices during her lifetime (1902-1936) and still find great comfort today by
praying her Novena, being inspired by her piety and virtues, and visiting her
Precious Blood Cemetery gravesite.

The event includes:  A family style chicken dinner, viewing of the 1989 EWTN
interview by Mother Angelica with Jeanne Savard Bonin, Canadian nurse, teacher
and author of “A Stigmatist – Marie-Rose Ferron”; an informal talk on Little Rose
by David P. Ethier, President, Rose Ferron Foundation of Rhode Island; testimonies
by devotées of healings attributed to Little Rose; displays of her habit, clothing,
’mementos’ and personal belongings; and, a visit to Precious Blood Cemetery
gravesite.  We will be doing the same as at least 1,000 people who visit her grave
every year – experiencing tremendous solace and healings in their needs.

The proceeds are going towards a permanent home in Woonsocket for:
‘The Chapel of Thorns,’ (designed and built by her cousin, Rose Myette, under the
direction of Little Rose); an extensive collection of Little Rose’s ‘mementos’;
an office to greet visitors who stopover to the center; a book nook; a place for
quiet reflection; to help Little Rose be better known and loved in Woonsocket,
Rhode Island and in the world!

The Israeli military has launched a retaliatory strike against Iran. That's according to a new poll from Harvard Kennedy School's Institute of Politics. It says that just nine-percent of voters between 18-and-29 say the nation is generally going in the right direction. Meanwhile, 58-percent of respondents said the country is going the wrong way.        Prince William is returning to public duties for the first time since his wife's cancer diagnosis. William has been absent from official engagements ever since Kate Middleton revealed last month that she was undergoing chemotherapy for an unspecified type of cancer.
