The Force is strong this August when the Woonsocket Harris Public Library announces the return of Jedi Academy. Starting Friday August 4th at 3:00 and continuing on the 11th and 18th at the same time, padawans in middle school and high school will have the chance to learn the secrets of Jedi combat. You can attend one class or all three. The class will make safe boffer lightsabers and students will be instructed in the ways of lightsaber combat. The governor of Texas says the pro-Palestinian protesters in Austin are antisemetic and "belong in jail." Hundreds of students walked out of classes Wednesday at the University of Texas and began a sit-in protest to support civilians in Gaza who are being bombed by Israel. Governor Greg Abbott came out against the protesters, and called them "hate-filled."
