Learn Chinese this summer at the Woonsocket Harris Public Library for ages 7-11. Participants who sign up for the class are expected to attend all classes in the series as one class builds on the next for language learning.  Starts Thurday July 13th ends August 24th from 4-5:30. Yes, Each program is an hour and a half long.

Participants will learn how to greet each other and introduce yourself, tell time and dates, express intersts of sports, animals, and hobbies including being able to order meals.

Practice actual Chinese character writing along with fun oral conversations. Learn about the language, history and culture through song, repitition and fun activities.

The President is sharing his thoughts as the NFL puts its new National Anthem policy on hold. Trump tweeted that he can't believe the debate is alive and well again. He said the policy for protesting during the National Anthem should be a one game suspension for the first offense, and a season suspension with no pay for a second.        President Trump's lawyer Michael Cohen secretly recorded a conversation with Trump two months before the 2016 election, according to a New York Times report. Rudy Giuliani says the tape of Trump talking about a payment to a former Playboy model proves Trump's innocence. Giuliani also insists the payment was never made in the first place.        Most of the victims of the duck boat capsizing in Branson may have been family members. Missouri Governor Michael Parson says a woman told him nine of the people who lost their lives yesterday were members of her family. The boat was carrying 31 people when it capsized on Table Rock Lake due to bad weather.        A new survey shows that Americans think the economy is the most important thing going well in the country. Thirty-seven-percent of U.S. adults in a new Gallup survey said the economy and low unemployment rates are what's right in America. Gallup says the poll was conducted to determine why so many Americans are satisfied with how things are going in the country.        The National Weather Service says 27 tornadoes ripped across central Iowa yesterday. The storms spread through multiple towns east of Des Moines causing extensive damage and power outages. One of the more noteworthy structures that was damaged was the Marshall County Courthouse.        There's still time to get a winning ticket for tonight's Mega Millions drawing. The jackpot climbed to 422-million after no one won the big prize in Tuesday's drawing. If you do draw the winning numbers tonight and decide to take the cash option, you'll get a cool 254-million-dollars.
