Donald Trump says the New York District Attorney is wasting time on his hush-money criminal trial. Speaking after the trial recessed for Friday, Trump said while crime runs rampant in the city, the DA chooses to go after him and his company. He closed by saying he's very interested about what he heard in court.        Pro-Palestinian protests are scheduled to take place Saturday at Kent State University in Ohio on the anniversary of protests that led to shootings on campus decades ago. Saturday will be the 54th anniversary since the May 4th, 1970 events on campus, when state National Guardsmen opened fire on anti-war protestors, leaving four people dead. Students say they will be memorializing the anniversary by holding their own protests.       Flood waters causing the San Jacinto River to rise are forcing mandatory evacuations of areas in suburban Houston. More than nine-inches of rain has fallen and the river is running 20-feet above normal. Experts predict it will surge another 8-feet today.        The California Supreme Court has ruled person cannot be detained for trying to avoid cops because that doesn't constitute a crime. The case was brought by a man from Los Angeles who was detained on suspicion of illegal activity when he crouched down behind a car as cops approached. The police officer's union calls the ruling "out of touch."       A group of people is being question by Mexican authorities over a trio of missing Americans and Australians. They found a vehicle, tents and a cell phone in a search where the men were last seen. The Baja California prosecutors' office says one American two Australian brothers were reported missing on April 29th.        Basketball superstar Caitlin Clark will play her first WNBA preseason game tonight. The Indiana Fever will travel to Texas to take on the Dallas Wings in front of a sold out crowd. Tonight's game is set to tip off at 8 p.m. Eastern.
